The IR-GUN-S non-contact infrared thermometer is your best deal in a basic infrared temperature gun. Use this versatile IR thermal sensor to read surface temperatures from a distance – instantly. The IR-GUN-S has a quality lens and machined baffles to ensure accuracy with a 12:1 distance-to-target spot ratio. At 12″ you can measure a 1″ spot diameter. And, the thermometer gun’s bright pointing laser helps you aim.
The IR Gun S has new features that include adjustable emissivity so you can set the IR thermal sensor to read a variety of different surface materials. Operation is simple. Pull the trigger on the IR-Guns-S to instantly read the surface temperature you’re pointing at. Let go of the trigger and the reading will stay in “Hold” for several seconds so you can take note of it. While the infrared thermometer’s trigger is depressed, you can also scan looking for MAX/MIN temperatures as you move the temperature laser gun across a larger target. The IR-Gun-S is a useful thermometer to help find hot or cold spots in walls, insulation, heated objects or larger areas. Other features include an averaging function and a differential mode. High and low alarms are easily set so the IR-GUN-S will beep for readings below or above your preset thresholds.
The main display of the infrared therometer is big enough to read and it’s backlit for easy viewing anytime. Batteries are included and replacements can be found anywhere (2xAAA).
